1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of MathSprint (the "Service"), provided by [Company Legal Name] ("we", "us"). By registering a school account, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms on behalf of your school. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
MathSprint is a classroom mathematics practice and tournament platform for schools. A school registers, nominates a SuperAdmin, and may add teacher accounts. Teachers create student access and manage class groups, practice assignments, and live tournaments.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be an authorized representative of a school to register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials (one-time codes and, if set, a password) and for all activity under your school's accounts. Student accounts are created and managed by the school's own teachers, not directly by students.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans are billed Monthly or Annually as selected at signup, at the price shown for that plan at the time of purchase.
- Some plans include a free trial period; at the end of the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription.
- Payments are processed by PayFast. We do not store your card or bank details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Plan pricing may change; we will give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
- See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
5. Plan limits
Each subscription plan includes a maximum number of teacher accounts. There is no limit on the number of students a school may add. Exceeding your plan's teacher limit will require upgrading to a plan with a higher limit before additional teacher accounts can be created.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access another school's data or accounts; interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation; upload content that is abusive, unlawful, or infringes the rights of others; or reverse-engineer or resell the Service without our written permission.
7. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring your school has a lawful basis (including any required parental/guardian consent) to enter student information into the Service.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding data you enter), is owned by [Company Legal Name] and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your school's internal educational purposes for as long as your subscription is active.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and may suspend or limit access to accounts that are past due on payment, subject to any grace period described in our Refund Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company Legal Name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by your school in the [3/6/12] months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the current paid period. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
